Case studies:

An elbow joint effusion occurs when excess fluid accumulates in the joint capsule. This often results from trauma, such as a radial head or olecranon fracture, or inflammatory conditions like septic arthritis or gout.

Lipohemarthrosis is a condition that occurs when both fat and blood enter a joint cavity following a bone fracture, typically resulting from intra-articular fractures (fractures that extend into a joint).

We saw the obvious fracture, but not the non-displaced one… RBfracture finds things that I would not!

The accuracy was much higher than I thought, and this has resulted in a significant drop in missed fractures in the Emergency Department.
